Legacy Founders: The Original Dream Team

At Puck Power, we see a constellation in our community—every player, volunteer, and supporter shines bright, illuminating the path toward greatness on and off the ice. Our stars are not just those who score the goals but also those who make the goals possible.

It all began with two teammates, a kitchen table, and a shared dream that transcended their high school sports careers. These founders envisioned a world where every young athlete could chase their dreams without financial burden weighing them down. They didn’t just pass the puck; they passed on a legacy of generosity and empowerment. Today, their vision continues to fuel our mission, reminding us that true champions play for more than wins; they play for impact.

IMG_1563

Devon DeCarlo (CEO)

Avid hockey fan and varsity player at Santa Margarita High School. He has played hockey since age 7 and has been a student athlete. He always pursued charitable causes such as donating to the food bank, sponsoring families during holidays, and volunteering for the LA Mission during holidays to feed the homeless. Adding his love for hockey to his love for charitable causes is how Puck Power came to life.

Semira Bayati

Semira Bayati MD, FACS (CFO)

Dr Bayati is a regular supporter of a variety of charitable foundations including Children’s Hospital, Negu, Laura’s House, amongst others. When Puck Power needed an adult to support them in creating the non-profit organization through proper legal channels, she did not hesitate to get involved. She is in charge of compliance, accounting, and proper management of donations and disbursement for Puck Power.

Secretary

Jameson Becker (Secretary)

Jameson Becker has been playing hockey for most of his life. At this point, it’s hard to imagine not playing because of not having the means to obtain gear or afford to join a team. This is what drives his passion for Puck Power: supporting players to have what it takes to play hockey.
